It has been a pleasure to do business with this company. Their employees are polite, competent and professional. They installed a humidifier in our large unfinished basement area when we first bought the house in 2013 and have maintained and serviced it professionally throughtout the years, updating and making recommendations as needed. Would not think of callling anyone else.

Basement & Radon Solutions installed a radon mitigation system in Thomas & Debra's basement. A 5" diameter hole was drilled through the concrete slab to the earth below, a suction pit was then be created. A 4" schedule 40 PVC suction line was installed in the slab and sealed. Then, the suction line was extended to the basement. Then, a radon suction line was installed in the ground of the basement. The suction line was then connected to the basement suction line. Then, extended to the rear exterior of the home. This is where the radon fan was mounted on the home. Then, the vent pipe was extended above the roofline to expel the radon gas safely. After that, a manometer gauge (homeowner radon fan monitoring vacuum gauge) was installed on the suction line pipe in the basement. A varmint and rain guard PVC exhaust cap was installed on all the exterior radon system. These prevent rain, debris, small animals and birds from entering the vent pipe, guarding and extending the life of your radon system. This sub-slab/sub-membrane mitigation system reduced the radon levels to a safe 3.9 pCi/l! It was a pleasure helping Thomas & Debra's home happy, healthy & safe!

Basement & Radon Solutions installed a Sub-Slab horizontal mitigation system. The radon suction line was installed on the left front exterior of the home. A diagnostics test was then performed to analyze the pressure extension field below the slab. After diagnostics for system performance, a 5" diameter hole was drilled through the left end foundation wall to just below the interior concrete slab. Then a suction pit was created. A 4" schedule 40 PVC suction line was installed in the foundation wall and sealed. The radon fan was mounted on the left exterior of the home with the vent pipe extending to just above the roof line. Varmint and rain guard PVC exhaust caps are installed on all Basement & Radon Solutions exterior radon systems that prevent rain, debris, small animals and birds from entering the vent pipe. This is guarding and extending the life of the radon system. If desired, the exterior system can be painted in the future for added aesthetics. After that, we installed a Manometer. A vacuum gauge was installed on radon vent pipe in the garage for easy viewing. It is a monitoring gauge to insure radon fan is operational. By installing the mitigation system, the radon gas level was down to 3.0 pCi/L! It was a pleasure helping Tom make his home safe, healthy, and happy!

Basement & Radon Solutions, BRS Pros did an encapsulation with a dehumidifier. This is how it went... First a 4" suction pipe was installed in the crawl space floor. In the event that Jack's home is tested for radon in the future and found to be elevate., This component will be used with the additional exterior radon system to correct radon levels. Next a ThermalShield metal foil faced reflective wall liner with a plastic moisture barrier was installed. The wall liner mechanically fastened/sealed to within 6" of the top of the crawl space foundation wall. ThermalShield is 90 mil thick. Its a class A fire rated with a near zero perm rate. ThermalShield reflects the natural occurring heat generated in the basement & crawlspace away from the foundation walls to provide a much warmer space. Then we Install a Premium 15-mil white 100% woven reinforced radon ready crawl space system. A radon piping system will be installed below the ground liner, the piping system will be used in the future when the home is tested for radon gas and requires a complete radon system. 15-mil woven ground liner will control moisture vapor and dampness from the ground. Most crawlspace liners are partially reinforced, our woven liner is 100% reinforced and tough unlike competitive brand liners that are only 10% reinforced. This product will not off gas (known on Google as "crawlspace cat urine odor", go ahead and check it out), we guarantee it!! Our woven ground and wall liners are antibacterial, meaning mold and other organic growth will not grow to our liner. A Aprilaire Dehumidifier has been the industry leader in residential humidification control since 1954. The Aprilaire Model E100 Energy Star rated dehumidifier delivers 23% annual energy savings above conventional products, a high-capacity solution designed for humidity control in crawl spaces and basements. The Model E100 removes up to 95 pints (11 7/8 gallons) of moisture per day! Proudly made in the USA and comes with a five year manufacturer's parts warranty when installed by BRS Pros, an authorized installer for AprilAire. Lastly we installed a Hygrometer- Remote Temperature and Relative Humidity Meter stand alone unit with one remote sensor. The wireless remote sensor was mounted in the crawl space to give Jack an accurate reading of relative humidity. This product will help him monitor the effective humidity of the dehumidifier in the crawl space. It was a pleasure helping Jack make his home safe, happy, and healthy!
